California Visit

It has been fun to see my family and spend time with them during our visit. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

Thanksgiving

Andrew and I spent Thanksgiving day over at his family's, along with other friends. We had an enjoyable day. Here are a few pictures.

New Teakettle

It is fun to have a teakettle now. I love hearing water for

tea and hearing it merrily whistle.

A job

One day I was able to go with Andrew to do a pressure washing job. It was nice to be able to go with him instead of staying home by myself.

Snow

Last week we had a little snow. It didn't last long, but it was pretty.

Update

It is hard to believe it has already been over a week since my family left, I miss them so much. We did a lot of things with them and drove around all over the place. It was fun visiting with them. This past week Andrew and I have been keeping busy around home. One day we did some clean up and burning in the back. Andrew also fixed his truck and we went into town several times for parts. We spent several evenings watching the BBC mini series Dombey and Son. This morning I went with Andrew to a pressure washing job. And now we are at the library. I am planning to try making some sourdough bread when we get home.

New Furniture

The last day my family was here we went to the second hand store and bought some furniture. A couch which is wonderful to have a place to sit, and a china hutch. The hutch was a gift from my parents. I love how pretty it looks and being able to display and

store my china.

Kerrs and Engells all piled up on our new couch. One evening we had my family and the Engells all for dinner it was a fun time and the biggest crowd we have had.

We all went out to dinner one evening in Colville. It was an enjoyable evening and the food was delicious.
