Autumn walk
A week ago my family came up for a visit. We had a wonderful time showing them our home and around the area. These pictures are from a walk on the back of our property. Aren't the fall colors gorgeous?

Today's Events
I have just put up several new posts. I haven't normally done so many at once but since we don't have internet and I am at the library I thought I would update you all on what's going on. My posting will probably be more like this from now on.
Today we made waffles for breakfast in our new waffle iron. Then we went to a nursery tree sale and got some big trees for our yard. It was fun to pick those out. We also stopped at an orchard to get some apples and they gave us one of these to try. I love the bright pink color inside! The lady told us it was pink inside, but I was thinking she meant a pale pink. I have never seen an apple like this.
Riverfront Park
Yesterday Andrew and I went into Spakane for a fun daytrip, kind of an extended honeymoon trip. We walk around Riverfron Park first but most thing weren't open yet so we went over to the mall and had lunch and watched Fireproof. It was a good movie and very thought provoking. Afterwards we headed back to the park and took the skyride over Spokane falls, went on the carousel, and watched an IMAX movie about the deep sea. On the way home we stopped for dinner at the Mongolian grill, then stopped at Lowe's and picked out some new light fixtures, then did a few errands at Fred Meyers. It was a wonderful day and a special time for Andrew and I together.
At Home
Setting up our new home has been a lot of fun. It has been fun to cook our meals in our kitchen and eat at our table. Dinner on the stove, we were surprised with a new stove from the Engells. It is wonderful to cook on.

Andrew brought flowers home the first day he went to work. It was very sweet.
Honeymoon Highlights
We had a lovely honeymoon along the California, Oregon and Washington coast. We took our time along the way staying at Bed and Breakfasts and even a yurt at a state park. We had sunny weather at first but it was rainy once we reached Oregon. We both got some kind of a flu the second week and then I got homesick but it was an enjoyable trip overall. Here are a few pictures of some of the places we went.

The yurt we stayed in near Reedsport, Oregon
We stayed several days at Andrew's Aunt's cabin near Mt. Baker, Washington. This is when we were sick for awhile, we mostly played games and watched a few movies.
